Coming soon: 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 by Nour Al Ghraowi
We are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of there are bodies here, a book of poetry by Nour Al Ghraowi.
Nour is a writer, activist, and educator born and raised in Damascus, Syria and based in Brooklyn, New York. She writes in the hope of changing the Western view of the Middle East and the Arabic language, which is often viewed as inimical. Nour’s writing also addresses social justice, migrant identity, and what it means to be an immigrant in an unwelcoming place, as well as feminism and what it means to be a feminist Middle Eastern woman.
Nour Al Ghraowi’s writing has appeared in Poetry Magazine, Dame Magazine, Mizna Literary Journal, Porter House Review, World Literature Today, and others. Her first book, there are bodies here, will be released in early 2025 by F.I.N.E. Editions.
100% of profits from sales of there are bodies here will be donated directly to the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), a humanitarian organization that provides free medical care to ill and injured children. Secure your copy of there are bodies here now, and subscribe to our newsletter to receive invitations to the book release events in New York City and Los Angeles early next year.
